The Farm Lake is approximately 12 acres in size with depths ranging between 5ft and 20ft. this lake is for the more experienced carp angler looking for a challenge. The lake features include 2 islands, margins, gravel bars, silt spots and deep channels. The farm lake has 700 plus carp over 15lb with a good number of these hitting the mid to upper 20,s and at least 3 known 30’s to 34lb. although this is the harder water on the complex it is still capable of producing some good weights of fish over a session with many anglers catching over 20 fish in 24 hours.

There is a new toilet block at this lake now. There is an onsite tackle shop and Cafe/Burger bar serving hot food and drinks during opening hours. If you would like food delivering to your peg there is a small charge of £1.00 that goes towards the ‘www.carping4charity.com’
Toilets are open 24 hours, 7 days a week with running water. Ladies please get a code from the cabin for your toilets. These are cleaned and inspected every day. Drinking water is available from the tap outside. There is also a new toilet block on the Farm Lake. Post Code, AL4 0RY

Another good event for the second week running on this popular ever present water in our BCC competitions. Our reigning champions, Richie Collins and Kevin Locke took victory with 435lb 12oz. Runners up were Richard Blackwell and Luke Boughen on 166lb 11oz. In 3rd place Kevin Grout and Natalie Quint finished on 131lb 3oz. Those three pairs go into the new look final at Barston in early October.

Father and son duo, Robert and Valentin Tutu were pushing hard in 4th with 108lb 7oz. England international, Neil Rivers fishing on his own as partner, Chris Holmes had other commitments was 5th on 73lb 5oz. 6th were Nash pairing, Jack Meyer and Lewis Swift.7th was Junior Carp Champs owner Neil Richards and partner Jamie Standbridge. Last but not least were Thomas Bottyan and Steve Steierlein.

It was a fantastic weight for the winners but 2nd, 3rd and 4th places all brought over a ton plus to the scales making a total  in excess of 1,000lb Every pair caught fish and it was pretty good weather with the exception of the rain on Saturday, which the fish didn’t seem to mind.
